‘ This is identiï¬Åed from Layard, 1928, pl. Xviii, ï¬Åg. 2a, which he describes
as an arm-badge oi “ Zvfew-I/mguuml ", on p. I65 he describes the ceremonies of
the degree “ Mew-langawul (Niwlzw) and on p. 161 says " a new arrn-badge
(binben) (pl. xviii, ï¬Ågs, Za and L) " is paid for. This degree is evidently the
Nimew described on pp. 324433. The lace-painting may perhaps also indicate
Nimew rank, p. 282, ï¬Åg. 14b.-—A. C. I-I.
