Boio Daro is a Motu woman from Boera, near Port Moresby.
She is among the early women who graduated and was the first Papua New Guinean woman to divorce. It created trouble between the two families because she married traditionally with many exchanges from each side.
She now runs a kindergarten and is a wealthy business woman.
