Lajamanu people sing the family Church Purlapa. The dance was designed by the Warlpiri Baptist Community to participate in the National Reconciliation process and the Australian Bicentenary commemorating the occupation of Australia by non-Aboriginal settlers.

The dance presents four conflictual situations settlers and Aboriginal people, the rich and the poor, men and women, young and old generations.
